Kristin M. Seyboth


Kristin Seyboth is Founder and Principal at KMS Research and Consulting (KMS R&C) LLC. Prior to founding KMS R&C, she was Deputy Head of Science at the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Working Group III (WG III - Mitigation of Climate Change) Technical Support Unit, during which she managed the IPCC’s Special Report on Renewable Energy Sources and Climate Change Mitigation and co-coordinated WG III’s contribution to the IPCC’s 5th Assessment Report. Earlier in her career, Seyboth managed the Operating Agent function of the International Energy Agency’s (IEA’s) Renewable Energy Technology Deployment implementing agreement. She has published numerous articles and books for the IPCC, the IEA, and in other venues including the Annual Review of Environment and Resources. Seyboth received her Master of Science in Environmental Management and Policy at the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics, Lund University, Sweden and her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Bucknell University, USA.
